| i have a question for breeders when you stud a male out to a breeder how exactly does that work? does the female come to the male or the other way around? if so how long does she stay with the male? things like that.. |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | The female usually goes to the male and stays approximately a week...perhaps a bit shorter.

Wouldn't work for us - mine has separation anxiety from me - we go to the male (I wait). and sometimes he comes home with us...works better if we go there as long as I'm there with her.

| The norm is the bitch goes to the stud. If you live close enough, you can take her to be bred, take her home and then take her back for the 2nd session. If you've picked a stud that is not within easy driving distance, you take the bitch to the stud just as she's coming into Season so she can settle in for a few days before she is ready to be bred.
