| Potty Patch Ok, I have been wanting to see if anyone has every used that Potty Patch that they advertise on tv. I wonder if they really work and are they worth it? My Elsa loves my bathroom rug for her mishaps. Yes, I guess she follows me around and watches me a little too much(not that I am peeing on the rug)...LOL. I even have to put pee pads down because I have already washed the rug three times this week. Not complaining, she just had a litter too and it's mainly after I go to sleep at night, just wondering if the thing really works. Eager to hear......Barbara |

| Rylie loves her potty patch, but she started with it since day one sooooo not sure how it works for those not used to it. To prevent smell (which I hear can be a problem), we actually put disposable pee pads on top of the fake grass as well as under it. It works very well for us and is easy clean up... just fold it up and throw it out and put another one on top ::shrug:: She's doing really well with potty training imo! Good luck! |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I've tried the PupHead (same idea) because Greta was trained mainly to go outdoors and here in Erie, it's just too cold to go out all the time. I have put her used pee pads (which I think she used by accident) underneath hoping the scent would attract her. She has used it a few times - but still prefers the carpet....and the bathroom throw rugs especially. I've been half tempted to just let put them in her room with a pad underneath and use them as washable pee pads (with a couple spares to rotate of course).

| we just bought one to try out on the back deck because little Sadie REFUSES to pee inside and i hoped with it on the deck it would help on those extra cold and snowy days. so far they haven't had to use it but i'm really hoping they will in the future so it's worth the money. |

| I've had my potty patches for a couple weeks now, and I'd have to say they're ok... two of three dogs really prefer to use it. I wish that they had made the grass with a rim around the outside to hold it in place. My dogs tend to like to pull it off and shred the sides, despite how many other toys they have to play with. The pads are expensive so I just buy the replacements from walmart, but the dimensions aren't quite perfect. Overall I'm pleased with my purchase but they could easy improve the product by making some small changes. The grass pulls off really easily. Last edited by lovesdoxies; 01-04-2011 at 12:40 PM. |

| I liked that it was really easy to train the dogs to use it, especially when combined with the spray. The only bad things were that I had one puppy that liked to pull it off the base and run around the house with it and the grass wears out over time. I've since replaced the grass with potty pads over the base. |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Thanks for the reviews. I seen them at Walgreens and wanted to try with my litter that is 5 weeks. I have been hesitant but now I think I will give it a try.

No Longer a Member | I've got one and Rizzo uses it, but if there is a potty pad near he'll use that instead. I think it's because I started him off with disposables, but he seemed to know exactly what it was for because he used it right away. For the smell I use a bleach/water combo, and let the grass soak in it once a week and rinse it off, and to get the peepee sent I just put a used disposable under the grass and he goes to it...I know he prefers the disposables but I prefer this system. |

| I bought the potty patch this weekend, Jett loves it and uses it all the time. Bella on the other hand turns her nose up at it. I am hoping that I can get them both to use it in time. Bella is attached to her potty pads.
