| Terrible constipation like symptoms My 8 week old yorkie (we just had a litter of 4) has been having problems. He keeps hunching over trying to go to poo but nothing comes out. We took him to the vet (banfield) and they said nothing was wrong but gave him a dewormer because he needed it and gave him fortiflora and albon and he has not got any better. He is going to the vet again today at 9 am. Suggestions? Thanks, JoAnne.

1/4 cc of warm water inserted rectally into the anus can help or 1/4 cc pure glycerine. I've done both, but strongly suggest doing this with your vet's concurrence. Add a bit of Karo Syrup to the drinking water Your pup is 8 weeks of age, you are weaning, therefore changes in diet can cause problems. What diet are you using in the weaning process?
