| Breeding is alot more then putting 2 dogs together. I don't know as you only asked if he is old enough to breed..... but have you done this before and with a yorkie? Have they been tested for any problems they may or may not have? I think you need to have them fixed. We have to many puppies in shelters now. And if you want to be a yorkie breeder take your time and learn what is involved to be a good breeder. Please look at the breeder forums on yt and look at some of the past threads you just may change your mind.

| Yes, he most probably *can* impregnate her at this point, but shoudln't. He's still a bit young and needs to mature fully. Until he has reached adulthood and you have had a chance to get him evaluated and tested, you have no idea if he is a quality representation of the breed that *should* be bred. Not true. Generally, males drop very early--before they even leave the breeder. An 8-12 week old pup is not going to be able to impregnate a female. Also, males that have undescended testicles can still sire litters. |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Were you planning on breeding?? If not, why haven't each of them been neutered/spayed already? Yes, he probably could get her pregnant. But have they been tested and do they meet the standards??? |

Do not forget that you must also have your female tested and evaluated before deciding to breed any of these 2 or both of them, also seek guidance from someone good and experienced about if it is a good match to breed these 2 to each other or not ! From your question you are not qualified to make such decision, no offense, just plain honest advice ! XOXO
