| Home Pregnancy Kits, do they work? I was just wondering, do home pregnancy kits work on dogs? We are still about a week away from vet confirmation, but the suspense is killing me!!!!! |

| No, You van not tell with a home pregnancy test. Only xrays or sonigrams.

| no, they will not work. They test for HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadatropin) This is a hormone women produce in pregnancy, will only work in human testing. |

| For one thing vets would be out a lot of exray money. It is probably a good thing that there isn't a home kit..... these babies NEED prenatal care. I am just very anxious..... My vet doesn't xray until 6 weeks -- two weeks away. UUUGGGHHHH it will be a long two weeks |
