| Puppy Kits/Packages? Anyone have this that they sent home with the selected new owners? I have gotten started on them, but just wanted to see what/if I am missing anything, or hadn't thought of something. Thanks!

| Not a breeder but a puppy buyer here There are lots of cute things that a breeder can send home and while they are nice (harness, leash, bed, etc.) they are not necessary. Here are the things I look for: 1. a small baggy of the food you have been feeding... it is hard enough for the little guys to adjust, its best if there food can be kept the same for the first few days at least... recommending this also prevents the pup from getting an upset stomach and the new owner freaking out "omg this breeder sent me a sick pup!" 2. some literature on raising a yorkie puppy, either something you wrote or just some information you printed off the internet... how to help them adjust, how to start potty training, how to notice the signs and prevent hypoglycemia... hopefully your new puppy buyers have done all this research on their own but it is nice for them to have all the information in one place to readily access if they have not. 3. A list of things they should buy: * crate * expen * Nutri Cal * harness * ID tags If you find your puppy buyers before the pups are ready to go home, you can send this to them early so they have time to shop and are ready to go. 4. a small blanket or toy that the puppy and their momma has been using... this way when they are in the new scary place they have something that reminds them of "home" Hope some of these things help, good luck!

Also some pages that she made and printed into a little book with everything in it from the history of the Yorkshire Terrier, how to make the ears to stand with photos, grooming tips, articles on immunizations she thought were important.... Just made it more personal then just a typical yorkie book. The breeder also had other things I could buy such as beds, crates, and washable pee pads, crate liner beds... | |

I realized the other day I have no pics of my kiddos parents, I never thought to take pictures of them when I was visiting, I was so focused on my puppy. I supposed I could ask for them now but I might sound kind of weird,

| I tend to go overboard with mine and spend way too much on them. But I love seeing the look on their faces when they see their puppy package!! New owners get... Puppy food both hard and soft Treats and chews Food and water dish Toys Blanket Atleast 1 outfit and bow Harness and leash Potty pads Nutrical I stock up on these things way a head of time so I always have plenty. The only thing left for owners to buy is grooming supplies and a pen/crate and a bed. And then their book which all the paper stuff in it that includes, AKC registrations, Vet records, Copy of Health Guarantee, microchip registration info, baby pictures and a booklet of information on training, grooming, feeding, etc.
