| Tink won't eat 36 days after 1st tie I have been worried and just need some reinsurance that I am doing the right thing. This is her 5th week and she has been fine. Not really showing any signs of pregnancy a bit tired but nothing else. She started about 2 days now not wanting to eat. I've called my mentor and she told me to try some warm gravy just a bit and put that on her food. I did that and she ate!!! But...now she has figured out all she has to do is lick it off. She will eat a treat and a baby carrot but refuses her food. I've tried to mix a different food in with hers (puppy Innova) still wont eat it just a bite or two. If anyone has an idea of something I can try let me know. I'm going to try cooking for her tonight and see how that goes. I will be calling the vet Monday and getting his feed back.

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Some girls can get down right picky with their food. I might try changing the flavor--same brand. So if you normally feed Lamb and Rice, try Chicken or Turkey and Rice. We usually introduce the DicK van Patton rolls about this time too, and my girls think they are getting treats. Good luck. Let us know how it goes. |

| Picky isn't the word. I warmed her food and she ate it like crazy!! I am going to get the rolls and try those as well. Thanks for your help! So I guess as long as I keep warming it up she'll eat. Such a funny little bug!

| my girl will not eat either Everyone I've been reading this feed and it has been so helpful. My Lola is not eating either. She is about 24 days into her pregnancy (is she is pregnant) No other signs. She has stoped eating anything that remines her of dog food. I was fixing her chicken livers and mixing it with canned puppy food and she ate that for about a week but not has become picky about that. She did get car sick the other day which is unusual for her. Where can I find the "wheling pudding receipe" " Dick Van Patton Rolls" and "Preggers Snacks??" This is my first pregnant girl. So I am very excited, but very scared that I 'm going to miss something important along the way. I have been preparing for this for 3 years. Researching everything about yorkies. I have two spayed girls which I also got for breeding but chickened out because I became so attached to them I didn't want to take the chance of anything happening to them. My third girl was breed 24 days ago. Not sure if she is really pregnant or not but it is still fun experience . It is real funny one of my spayed females is faking her a pregnancy to get all the attention that Lola is getting. Thanks for all the information. Being a part of such a supportive group is great and very helpful. Shari Last edited by yorkiemom11; 04-12-2010 at 06:50 AM. |

| I got the Dick Van Patton Rolls at Petsmart in the pet food isle. It's so funny...Levi to is acting like HE is pregnant too just to get the rolls! When I make Tinks food now he turns in circles over and over. Boy are the furbutts smart or what.
