Breeding question and maybe problem My male yorkie tied with my female about 2 weeks ago and out of the blue, he all of a sudden starting going crazy trying to mount her again as if she was in heat. I don't know if I should let him tie with her again or if it might hurt the puppies that might be in her. I really need some advice. thanks Kara

I am not a breeder, but my boyfriends mom bred Schipperkes (sp?) and she says that your little girl might not actually be pregnant even though they tied. I would suggest calling your vet and getting his opinion. Hope it helps!

well, 2 weeks ago I had bred her the 9th, 11, and 13th day of her heat. I hope she is pregnant. I am wondering if maybe because she is pregnant, she is releasing a hormone or something that is making carmello go crazy. I don't know...

Don't let him tie with her again or try, they could both get hurt.

I probably has more to do with the fact that she is a female, preggers or not, and he is a male who has been used as a stud. This is not uncommon, constant behavior for males who have been used to breed, regardless to if the female is in heat or not.
