| I think it depends on their weight, lineage and registration

| I live in Caruthersville. Are you from Cape Girardeau? I lived there for 13 years. My sister lives there now. I have a friend that is looking for a yorkie (hers was killed by a lab). Was this ad in the paper recently? Thanks |

YT Addict | I don't know who is selling them for $400 dollars but i would like to find out more about them. I do know a lady selling two girls for $600, says they are going to be bigger, I also know a lady selling them for $1000 -$2000, show quality standard and absolutely beautiful.I'm selling my boy for $300 and his mom for $250 because they have flaws, but I think they are well worth the money. Sometimes you get what you pay for I bought my mom cheap and finding out later she is flawed and doesen't need to be bred, but will make a great pet.I'm now trying to better myself and my dogs before i breed again. My sugar is beautiful except for a little wave in the back of her hair but the akc judge says she is breedable, so i'm breeding her with her little showdog. She gets $1000 -$2000 for her pups. She does not sell to brokers or people who don't care for their dogs. |

YT Addict | An AKC judge told me yesterday that she wouldn't even call a person selling yorkies this cheap. She is trying to mentor me a little. She says you need to check out the grandparents on both sides, if you are going to breed and look for all the flaws. roach back underbite overbite etc... I'm selling my two for a great price, with no breeding rights. They are great for quality pets. Beautiful coats, babydoll faces. AKC, healthy |

I don't mean to sound rude, but I wouldn't call a person selling babydoll faced Yorkies. That is a much worse sign than a "low" price. With living things, its not always "you get what you pay for".

YT Addict | babydoll faces I did say pet quality, Long noses are out aren't they! I'm just learning and if you know something i don't I'm all ears. Please. These are beautiful puppies for pets.I'm not breeding anymore of them either. I'm going for the best quality i can get, that is why i'm talking to people and trying to get answers. |

YT Addict | I didn't mean anything by what i said as far as not calling the lady with low prices, just repeating what somweone told me. I was ignorant and bought Princess taking the man's word that she had a good bite, not knowing at the time what a bad or good bite was. I got her cheap and i'm selling her cheap, but not keeping any secrets about her either, plus she is not to be bred again. Everyone makes mistakes when learning about breeding good dogs. I'm just trying to correct mine. Some people breed anykind of dog just looking at dollar sighns, because yorkies go for high dollar now. I take wonderful care of my babies and i am starting out and wanting to learn to do this the right way. I am by no way getting rich off my pups nor intend to. I just enjoy them and improving the breed sounds so right.Didn't mean to offend anyone. Sorry |

YT Addict | No, nothing against noses or flat faces, i'm just talking about improving the yorkie breed line. If you show a dog, their noses have to be a certain lenth, their backs straight, good bites, stuff like that. Nothing to do with pet quality puppies. I'm not going to get into a heated discussion about this because i'm still learning myself. I wouldn't be one to advise anyone on anything. Their are lots of good breeders on here that have been doing this for a long time . That is who i want advice from. I love this breed I have a greatlooking female and don't want to buy anymore dogs that produce bad bites or roach backs. I'm just on here to share and learn. no offence taken by anything i've said i hope. I'm backing out now.Feel already like i stuck my foot in mouth. |

| I know of a lady in Southwest Oklahoma that sell her AKC puppies for $600., male or female. That was a year ago. In California and New York they sell for twice that or more. |
