| clear discharge usually means delivery is within the next day or two, take your little gals temp it will drop from average 101 to 98. If its on the lower side your about 12-24 hours away from whelping. Hope its an easy, healthy whelping keep us posted

| Does there seem to be a lot of discharge?? Or is it barely noticeable??? How long has she been doing this??? Does her stomach feel hard??? I have always noticed with my yorkies about 12 to 24 hours before delivering their stomach gets really hard, almost like a basketball. But she still has 17 days, and this is being the 63rd day right??? From her first breeding????

| yes going by 63 days. buckeye got hold of her on 8/25. 63 days puts her at 10/27. and the discharge is not real heavy but it is enough to make her clean pretty often. no her stomach is not real hard but it is starting to tighten. i could feel puppies moving around a lot this morning. yes, her first breeding. it was an accident.

| In your first post I assumed she was closer to her whelp date, Trina had it for about a week or so before she whelped. Just keep an eye on the color of the discharge. How many days are you counting as her due date? Mine usually whelp on 60-62 days.

| I would watch her if she starts to show any discomfort or starts acting differently I would advise you contact the vet. My girls are usually checked by my vet 2 to 3 times through their pregnancies, almost like us women go to see our obgyn. But this is what I do. You might want to call your vet in the morning and see if they want to check her out. She is probably more than likely fine, but it doesn't hurt to check....

| in the final days they will tend to waddle when they walk, take stairs much slower if at all, want to be close to you. Exception Hattie played soccer about 4 hours before she whelped usually every night about the last week or so, will take them on my lap and rub their bellies for an hour or so they love it.

| Keep us posted on her progress. I am expecting a litter the 21st. So we will be grandma's together. hehehe.... Maevie's ultra-sound on Sat. showed the pups had started to calcify, so we were able to see the spines, ribs, ect. The vet was having a hard time getting any of them to stay on the monitor for any length of time due to all the movement. She predicts about a week and half for the new arrivals.... She is starting to get big and having difficulty moving around and is always hot, panting a lot poor girl. I set a fan on the floor just for her and with one of her big pillows she likes and that is where I find her most of the time.
