| Girls Fighting Hi all in the USA! My Maisey has started to attack Marnie (the Top Dog), she is always terrorising her and following her around and they have had a few fights where they have got hold of each others neck! When ive managed to part them, there is never any damage done (thank god). Also if i get any visitors Maisey wants to attack Marnie and Stella. I dont know why she is like this, i thought perhaps jealousy (i have 3 girls 1 boy) and treat them all the same. Any help to curb this behaviour would grately be appreciated. thanks |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | No help here. I have 2 girls that fight all the time and I have tried everything. I have to keep them seperated 24/7 now. As much as I hate it I am getting ready to rehome one of the girls.

| Over the years I would occasionally get a female that were want to fight with other females and the only solution was to separate them from eachother. If I were you I would separate them because the fights can escalate and someone could really get hurt. |

| Some dogs just hate each other and I agree, I doubt you can do much to change them and I would never leave the house without them being separated. I had two neutered boys that in a second would go for the throat...they hated each other and I don't know why. There were fighting for the kill.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I agree with the girls, I had a girl that needed rehoming because she really did not get along with Chanel since Chanel was 6 months old, she was making her life miserable, so I had her spayed and rehomed, now Prada and Chanel get along like sisters, maybe because Prada was spayed and Chanel is the top female. sometimes the playing gets a bit rough but I stop it before can escalate. you know your girls and you are the only one who can make the call. best of luck to you. |

| Sounds like your girl is fighting to be the dominate female, If you don’t step in and take the roll of leader of the pack, The fighting will continue. until one of the other girls gets injured or killed by the aggressive female. She does need to be kept separated 24 / 7 unless you are right there to supervise. The other choice has been mentioned to Rehomed. As much as you hate to do it, sometimes it’s the best choice for all involved. She will need to be place her in a home where she can be the only dog. |
