| We have puppies!!! My Dixie went into to labor around 9 AM this morning and had her first little baby boy at 10:30 AM her second baby boy at 11:15 AM her first baby girl at 11:42 AM her second baby girl at 11:50 AM and her last baby girl at 1:00 PM....She now has a happy family of FIVE!!!! She is being a wonderful first time mother...She doesn't even like for me to be around and pick them up....but thats ok...i was unable to take pics cause I was to shook up....LOL |

| Congrats! Glad to hear momma & babies are doing well! Mommas are little protective of their babies for the first few weeks.

| Congratulations on the puppies. As for Mommy getting aggressive with you. Do you have her confined to an area where the Dad cannot see her and the babies? If not, it is possible that she is extremely nervous that ther babies could be harmed by him. Please make sure the male is not allowed in the same room with her. Then I would follow the advice given and sit with her and reassure her that you are not going to hurt the babies. She absolutely needs to understand that it is not acceptible for her to try to bite you. Poor little mama... It sounds like she is trying to protect them and if she is normally NOT growling at you.. then I would guess that it is the male that she is REALLY worried about.
