Is she or isn't she I think my baby girl my be pregnant. She came into her first heat around just before thanksgiving. The problem is I didn't know she was coming into heat and took her to be groomed. I noticed her heat 2 day later. Now I think she should be out of heat but her nipples are swollen and dark and her vulva is still swollen and I have noticed that she has thrown up a few times this week. I have two large male dogs but both have been neutered since before we got her. I suspect that she may have mated with my husband's cousin's Chihuahua ( who is also our groomer). I never thought to ask if he had been neutered, she is my first little girl. I would have never taken her if I had known she was in heat. I want to do what is best for her. I was planning to allow her to have at least one litter but when she is older.

Your best option, as far as what would be in HER best interest, would be to take her to the vet and have her spayed ASAP. You didn't mention how old she is, but since you stated that this was her first heat, I'm assuming she is not even a year old? That is WAY too young for her to have a litter.

I was afraid of that, it really makes me mad that because my husband's cousin was not watching her dog while she was there i now have ruined her chance to have a little later on. She has the best personality and i was hoping for a litter of happy, easy going pups just like her one dayThank you for your advice.
