| Hi Everyone This is my first post, I am just introducing myself. I am a show breeder from Canada. I have been showing and breeding yorkies for about 6 years now. I currently have two little girls that I will be breeding, my boy and a couple of spayed previous moms. One of my little girls (of my own breeding) is my first Champion, she finished at 11 months, I am very proud of her. I also have her half-sister who is just 5 months old. I haven't decided if I will be showing her, she is structured very nicely but is breaking a little lighter than I would like. In the spring, I am getting a new boy from a YTCA breeder. I am very excited about getting him, spending some time with the breeder and going to a show in the States with her. I have never been to an American show, only Canadian so this will be a new and exciting experience for me. Besides showing, we are also involved with agility, my dogs just love that (and it is good exercise for me as well). I am posting in this section, as I wanted to introduce myself all of you breeders, I value talking to those with lots of experience, as I am relatively new at all this. I will post pictures of some of my furkids as soon as I figure out how. Audrey |

| Thank you all for the warm welcome. I have been looking at the section on how to post pictures and it could take me a while, as I will have to resize them all and quite frankly, computers are not my thing. I'll keep working on it. |

| Welcome to YT!!! I bet your little ones are just beautiful, can't wait to see them. Hopefully you get the computer thing figured out, just make sure the file sizes are below 200 MB is they won't load. I still haven't figured out how to keep my pictures from being too large when you click to get a better view (I'm sure everyone here finds it slightly annoying too; sorry y'all- I'm just computer stupid), so we're in the same boat with that one, lol.

| When I meet my breeder in the spring,(so far we have only met via email and phone, it's hard to get to know someone that way) I will probably go to a show with her somewhere in the Northwest. No times have been set yet, so don't know where show will be, I will spend some with her so we get to know each other better and she can provide me with some of the mentoring, that I so need. There are not a lot of people showing yorkies where I live so have been learning mostly on my own so far. As far as when is concerned, don't know that for sure either, as we have some nasty winters here and do not want to travel when I could get stuck in a nasty winter storm, so basically have to wait out the winter first. I will show my new boy here in Canada first (it is relatively easy here to get a championship on a pup if they are nice). Then after full coat is in he will be shown in the States as well. Thank you all for your warm welcome and your interest. I look forward to getting to know you all better. |
