If it's her last, it appears that she concieved on her last breeding. She could have ovulated and concieved 24 to 48 hours after she was bred. Contact your vet and let him know she is and he'll advise you. Recommend when to do a C-Section if she hasn't begun labor on her own. I had one girl that delivered on day 64.....

| Oh how exciting. I love the rush when they go into labor. It's even better than when I had my own babies. LOL |

Yorkie Yakker | help please Ok i really need advice now. i called the vet and one told me to bring her in this afternoon for a c-section. I really don't know about that b/c for one it is just her 64th day and second he hasn't even looked at her before telling me that. That really made me uncomfortble. So i called another vet and he said to wait till aleast her 65th day and then bring her in and let them look at her. But he also told me if i had any concern or questions to call them asap. Help please i need advice from breeders what would you do???????? |

| If it was my girl I would wait I just had a litter at 66 days after the last breeding. If you are concerned take her in for a check but they will eventually go into labor when their body and the pups are ready. An automatic section for 64 days and he has not even seen her That would be a no for me and I would go with the other vet. If she is distressed, fever , or just not herself then take her in otherwise I would wait. |

| If you aren't already at the vets office, since it's Friday with the weekend almost here, I would get her checked to make sure she's pregnant. I remember thinking one was pregnant and could have sworn she had at least one maybe two...just to find out she was constipated. Better safe than sorry. Mardelin is right. 67 days is the magic number. It's 58 days from ovulation or as long as 67 days from breeding. This really is one of the most nerve wracking parts of breeding. Especially with a first time bitch. |

Yorkie Yakker | thanks for the advice if she hasn't had them by in the morning we are going to go in and get checked but her temp is 98.6 right now and she is staying in her box so i reallt think she will have them tonight. i can feel them moving. So i think this is a good sign. i'm praying really hard that she will do fine. |
