I made an appt for next wednesday (4.5 weeks from tie) for my vet to palpate. Do others get their vets to do this? Is it safe? It only costs 35 dollars here so that part is no problem. Thoughts?

.....in reading here at least I am seeing that most do a palpate at 28 days....mine will be 34 days on her vet visit....is that too far in to do this?

I can finally offically add myself to this list! Today is Fiona's 32nd day. She just had her ultrasound. I saw the little babies and their little hearts beating! I'm already in love with them. She will be having 3 to 4. Myself and the vet could see clearly three little ones. But there was a little fuzz that could possiblity be a fouth. Her xray will be Nov. 4. her due date is Nov. 10. This will be our first time. The memebers of Yorkietalk has been so supportive and I would love to say thank you. I'm sure I'll have more questions in the near future and I'm blessed to had found all these people here.

Well what do you think? She on day 30.

I trimmed up her belly before her bath and my daughter snapped a picture with my phone.

Melissa, Tara is pregnant, I know that belly and it didn't look they way before

Awwww Melissa, look at Tara's belly!!!!!! I guess I will have to get some pics up! Especially since we have girls due on the same day!!!

I am possibly expecting a litter due at the end of November! Too soon yet to see if she took but I will palpate around 28 days.

I am hoping for silkie terriers for november my silkies tied on september 23rd... so i am hoping for thanksgiving babies..

Go! Go! I want to so bad but I am just going to listen to Kim..she know better than me what her belly looked like. So I am going to send Kim and couple bucks and save the vet bill for the xray.

Cindy told me the same thing!!! Why waste the money. But I can't control myself, so I am going!!!! If Cindy was here she would probably slap me
