| Update on Diva and her babies I've been so busy this last week, I haven't been able to post an update on Diva. I just found out yesterday that my youngest daughter has to have her tonsils removed tommorrow, so I won't be able to get online over the weekend. Diva is doing great. She seems to be recovering from her c-section well and her remaining 3 babies are doing great. I got their tails and dew claws removed yesterday and the vet said they all look great and are healthy. The little male's feet are perfectly normal now. He was my first pup born and his sack was twisted to the point that he was born curled into a ball. The vet feels like his legs had become trapped close to his body the last couple of days before birth causing them to have a deformed appearance. Now that he is out and able to use them they have returned to a normal appearance and function perfectly. I will be back next week with new pictures. I hope everyone has a great weekend. |

| Ohh, I am so glad the little boy's legs are fine! I've actually seen that happen in human babies (I am in school for pre-nursing-midwifery.. ironically, I freak out when dogs whelp but not when humans deliver, ha) especially when the uterus is pretty crowded.. he probably just didn't have enough room to maneuver his legs in there. Aww. I can't wait to see the pictures, I'm sure you are enjoying them all so much.
