Help! Whats she missing? I just took the little girl out & she should be about 5-6 weeks preggo. AS were going dwn the stairs, she ran ahead of me & found cat poo & started to eat it, but the time I got dwn to her to see what she was doing.. Too late! I know cat poo has something that dogs crave which they are missing from their diet, what is it? & what should I give her now that shes preggy & may need? Another thing, what can i give her to make sure she didnt eat any bacteria or to clean her stomach from that filth?! Any help will be appreciated!

I really think some dogs just like to eat poop. I don't necessarily think she is missing anything in her diet. I don't know of anything you could give her right now. After the pups are born be sure to have stool samples done on mom and babies when they are about 3 or 4 weeks old. I would worry that the cat poop might contain worms of some kind.

You don't want to start the Osteo Form until after she has her pups. You could give her a little yogurt or cottage cheese or boiled egg ever now and then if she is not eating her dog food. The very best thing for her is just a good high quality puppy food.

| PANACUR-C is a safe de-wormer to give to preggo mom's and can be given for days in a row. For three days it kills most worms and one kind of tapeworm. For 5 days or more it gets rid of Gyardia too. It does not kill the tape worm they get from "fleas". Other than that i do not know of any other de-wormer you can give a preggo girl. Just a lot of love and maybe a tooth brushed?

Thanks Ladies... I have her on the Nutro Ultra, which she is in love with, but to entice her to eat I adda little bit of cottage cheese, the wet beneful or beef broth. But the cottage cheese/egg I give her like 3-5 times a week alternating!
