Better hope that she doesn't go prior to day 58 (preemie babies), preferrably 59-63. As far as getting her temp up....it is what it is.

If they are preemies, you're gonna have your work cut out for you. They maybe a bit too young and weak to nurse. So, I hope you have vet or someone that can teach you how to tube feed around the clock until they are strong enough to nurse, even at that your mom's milk could dry up by then, then you'll have to bottle feed until they're old enough to lap. You're girl is a small to have bred her. Putting a smaller male with a larger female does not guarantee that you'll have smaller pups. That is a misnomer. Try not to overdo on the temp taking, you don't want to cause her undue stress. Best of Luck

| Thanks again. im used to breeding shichons and they are just so much easyer. i take the temp once in the morning and once at night soon as they drop down to low 99 or any 98 they have them that day. the yourkie is soooo much diffrent then the shichon. im really surprised. the thing is too all my dogs sleep in my bed, all 5 of them, and my three kids, so when they normally get down to 99 or 98 i have to kick every one to there own rooms and the teddys to the front room. and it is hetic. they all scratch at the door my sire starts barking, he picks up on whats happening. and im by there side 24.7, i was supposed to take my kids to splash town, now ive cancled every thing for the next few days, becase i have to be by my babys side. anyways thanks for all your help, and im not done with you guys ether! ill need you when she dose go down, ive never whelped a yorkie, they get cold, and i heard have pushing problems ex. but for my job i do webdesign from home so anybody needing web help im right there! thanks a bunch! |
