| What a cutie she is. I love reading stories like this one. It goes to show you just how many dog-lovers and kind hearted people there are in our world. I hope that Mr. Strong just sucks it up. What an awful life that poor girl would have faced being stared at daily with no hugs and kisses. Thanks for sharing. Anyone wanting to make $ off the hardship of a person or animal is a person without a heart! |

| Omg, I can't believe there still are "freak" shows, and that people would pay just to get a peek at a poor little puppy!

| Shame, shame, shame on Mr. Owensby, the original pet owner! Yes, he had fallen on hard times being an out of work Electrician...but, he could have tried other avenues just like the rest of America who's out of work without trying to make a profit off of an innocent animal. That's all I believe this was...he saw an opportunity to make $$$ at the expense of poor Lily! Thank God for the do-gooders in this world who jump in to do the right thing and get this lil' girl the medical help she needed and off to a good start for a life away from her shameful previous owner. Vent over...

| Every time i read a story like this the same thoughts come to my mind: i have yet to hear something worse than this... nothing will surprise me anymore... but human kind seem to manage to keep surprising ... The great thing about this story is that we have a good ... and a bad doing... and thank G. the good this time is a winner !!!!!
