| Questions about mommy's to be. I have never noticed before but I have matured a lot in the last 20 years. Have any of you ever noticed a female that acts like she KNOWS she's pregnant when she's only been bred a few days? Lady has now been bred twice. Last time she kept on acting like a puppy until she got heavy. She was bred the first time this heat on the 11th, which makes her 9 days pregnant, if she took. She has selected a corner of my living room to nest in and has torn up the carpet already. She doesn't play much, she doesn't run unless there's someone at the door. She acts like she's near term. Crazy little thing! I know no 2 dogs will react the same, I'm just wondering if anyone has noticed their females acting like they are pregnant at such an early stage? Sylvia |
