My Lexie is Pregnant Yay!!! I am so excited, I know a lot of people kept telling me to breed her but I just could't do it. But then this time I noticed she was in heat when I saw chucky all excited trying to hump her, I didnt think much of it because he had done it before, I had a little crate for them outside my doorway I would leave them there when i had to run in the house to get something, when all of a sudden i heard them crying, it was too late they had tied. I guess Lexie didn't know what was going on and tried to move away, luckily i was right by the door and calmed her down so she would not hurt my boy, I mean what else was left to do.Its been a couple of weeks since that happened and well had not noticed much of a difference in lexie so i even thought she was not pregnant until yesterday, he rib cage is a little wider and her belly is a tad bigger, her nipples are begining to enlarge I will be taking her to the vet next week to make sure all is well.. Im super excited what is the average littler in a 5lb yorkie, my male is 2 1/2 lbs... I know I am not an experienced breeder but my dads best friend is a vet and my dogs will have proper vet care... can anyone share experiences....

Congratulations on your upcoming litter. I pray everything goes well. You sound very excited. My first yorkie was just over 5 lbs when she had her first litter and she had 4 pups. You really never know. Once I had a female that had 1 pup her first litter and 7 her second litter. We would love to see pictures of your babies when you get a chance.

Not at all... They are both indoor dogs, the crate is used when they are outside, and for what ever reason i have to be in the house, i hate leaving them out and me being inside sometimes they just want to sit in the sun, so i leave them in the crate for a couple of minutes, They love it.. as soon as they see me head to the door they just get in...
