| She did it! She did it!!!!! Zoey did it! Saturday her temp dropped. I thought it's going to be a long night. I slept in her welping room with her. She got out of her box to lay beside me(that's were she always sleeps). I told her to get back in the bed. 8:00 am still nothing. Then it all happened she wanted in my lap to push. Finally she stayed in her box through the pushing. 11:39 am I saw feet coming out. She had a hard time with him. He was stillborn. I worked with the lil fellow for about 45 min. Sadly we could revive him. After seeing how big he was, off to the 24 hour vet we went. They did an xray, said she will do fine with this one. They were going to give her three dosages of medicine, and if she still didn't del. they would c cestion. After the first dose she del. our newest little male. Xrays have not done any good for me in the past, but IF I breed her again I will def. have an xray done. Both mom and lil man are doing great!!!!! Yay! |

| Congratulations on the birth of your new yorkie son. I am glad that Zoey and her little one are doing well. What an honor that Zoey felt comfortable enough to want to be in your lap during the birth! On a sadder note, I offer my sincerest condolences on the loss of the first little boy. I know the pain and sorrow of losing a newborn. Hugs to all. |

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | I've been watching for this announcement since seeing your earlier thread. Hooray that the whelping is over and done and that mom and her little boy are doing well. It is so sad when a newborn does not make it; I am so sorry for the loss. Hope you will share pictures of mommy & son with all of us.

| So happy for you and Zoey! I know you're proud! So very sorry to hear about the first one though but very thankful that you were able to have one to show for all the hard work and worry. Can't wait to hear updates as he gets older. |
