| Bring in a girl, have two boys??? Hello all. I didn't really think that getting my dream girl was going to ever happen. I have been working on a deal with a breeder for over a month now. And to tell you the truth I just thought she was going to pull out in the end. Well as I still hold my breath, SHE IS GOING TO BE HERE SUNDAY!!!!!!!! But now down to my question. Breeders and parents alike, are there any things I should set up special since I'm bringing in a female into a double boy house? I have a 3 year old yorkie male and a 5 month old male. Neither of which are neutered. I should of asked this sooner but I just found out that my princess is joining the family as of yesterday. EEEPPPP I'm so excited. She is a biewer! I will post pics in the correct area as soon as I can! |

| I bet you are excited. Are you getting her as a pet or for breeding? I can't wait to see pictures of her. How big is she now? How are the personalities of your males? Bringing a female into the house can create a new set of problems, especially if she is not going to be spayed. You will have about four to 6 months before you have to start dealing with that. I bet your 5 month old boy will love having a playmate. Hopefully no jealousy will develop between the two males. You know the saying, two is company and three is a crowd. You will just need to watch them closely. Do your males have the run of the house of do you have a special area for them? I can't wait to see pictures of your new baby. |

| My stud Gizmo likes younger males, but once they are mature (about a year) and ready to breed they are competition. You may have problems!! Some people do very well and they will get along, but usually they will not unless one is fixed. That means seperating at all times. I think your best bet would fix one. Congrates on your new Biewer!! I can't wait to see her pics. We have two

| Congratulations on your new little girl.. I bet you can hardly stand it! I agree, I would def. get at least one of the boys fixed if not both.. you just can't imagine how tricky those guys can get when it's "time"... I've given up even keeping males in the house with the girls.. my sister has my male and I keep the females.. I just can't keep my eyes open 24 hours a day and I don't have cages/kennel etc to keep them seperated.. even that doesn't always work LOL I wouldn't worry about the size of your little guy, I have my boys neutered before they leave here as puppies.. as long as they are 2 lbs and you have a good vet, and both of the testicles are dropped, there should be no worries.. of course we always do a complete liver panel and monitor during surgery, but it's usually a very simple procedure.. it's also really not going to change the personality of your older boy either.. you'll still have the playfull, fun loving fella you've always had.. just less stress and trauma in your life. Congrat's again, I'm sure you'll love your little Biewer girl.. they are an amazing breed. -Diana

| UPDATE!!! She is home! She's home! She's home! And absolutely wonderful. I posted pictures in theMY YORKIE PICTURES. She is wonderful. The boys love their princess. Versace loves that Brinklii takes a break from playing with him to play with Ella. The transition has gone beautifully. She has such a loving personality, there really didn't seem like a transition. She was a little tired from all the traveling (airplane ride, car ride) but when she came in the house she knew she was home. |
