| What do you think? we are expecting any time now and i think we maybe had our temp drop. i checked her lastnight and she was 100.4 then this morning i checked again and it was 98.7. she never has been below 99.6. do you think we had our temp drop in the middle of the night and she is on her way back up. i checked her an hour ago and she was back to 99.9 and two hours before that it was 99.4. im just wondering what you think. did we get the temp drop and just caught the tail end of it at 98.7 or should we still be looking for it. she is 59 days today. thanks |

| I was told to start taking the temp on about day 51 and to only take it once a day...more than that can give you false readings because her temp will normally fluxuate up and down during the day. Do you know what day she is on? |

| she is 59 days today from the first time she "tied" ive been taking temps for a week now and she has consistently been between 99.4-100.8 today is the first time i have had her into the 98's. another thing that was making me think is she likes to sleep in her travel krate so this morning when i let her out to go potty she refused to get out of it i had to make her get out to go and then she imediatly went to her bed in the house and laid there no potty no food no water nothing. so that was very strange usually by morning she is ready to be out. so that is when i took her temp and it was 98.7. |

| She could go anytime, or she could really confuse you with the temp thing. I stopped taking it after a few days, because it was not like many sources claimed it was going to go. I think the people that say it is 99.9% accurate, they just have the dogs that follow the rules! (mine don't) Do you have a whelping area for her? If she is locked in a crate I think that might be a bit too small for her to get comfortable with a litter of pups. I took a huge cardboard box and she had enough room for us both when it came to whelping time.
