| First Heat Cycle Jasmine is 8 mos. and sign of blood was on 3/11.....25 days later she's still bleeding. Does that seem normal??? She's has a spay appt in June. Just wondering if I should have it checked out.

| Thanks....I'm going to try and do some research on my own today. I'm starting to get worried. She's been bleeding small amounts for 28 days now.

| I would call your vet and ask over the phone if it is normal, my vet would answer those questions and only have me come in if he thought it was a problem. I hope it is O.k.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I would call the VET ASAP, my silky terrier just had her first heat and she did not bleed for that long. I would say she bled redish for about 13 days and then it got lighter to a pinkish flow and then it stop by the 23rd day.. so I would give my vet a call.. just to be on the safe side.. | I called the vet and they gave me a quick answer like every cycle is different. Jasmine seems absolutely normal. I just think this is way too long of a heat. If it continues I'm making an appointment.
