| is labor starting millie been walking round unsettled for about 2 hours her tail keeps going stiff and shes looking at her bottom, she has had a few roles round on the floor, she now has taken herself off to a darkened room in her bed where it is peacefull, no digging or panting as yet, i thought i would leave her a few mins on her own see if she settles. |

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Don't leave her alone to long; keep checking on her. Sounds like whelping time is not far off. Keep a close eye on her. Is this a first for her/you? It's almost 5 in the afternoon here.....what time is it in England?

So have your read up on everything about whelping, do you know what to expect? All the supplies you might need, a vet or emergency vet available if needed? Do you know how many puppies she is having? Have you been to the debbie jensen website? It's my favorite! Canine Reproduction Video and Book on Breeding and Whelping dogs by Debbie Jensen for dog breeders and Whelping Supplies needed to deliver puppies. Scroll down and click on the links on either side.

| Oh boy! I'll be a frequent visitor to this thread I might not post much, but I'll be watching. Were you able to find the Corn Syrup or did you decide to go with the vanilla pudding? |

| Have you taken her temp? Once it drops to about 98 to 100, whelping is within 24 hours. |
