| Oh jeeze!!!! okay, so i havent been on here in a long time..no one probably rmembers me. i dont have a computer anymore...but i thought it was time to seek some advice. pheobe will be two years old in august. she had a normal first heat even though my bigger boys were going nuts over her and it felt like it lasted forever dealing with keeping the three of them apart..between the fighting with the two males and pheobe just LOVING all the psycho attention she was getting. But anywho... a couple months ago she went through her second heat.. i wasnt going to breed her.but then a freind of the family said that her aunt had a really nice male yorkie, akc, good health..all that. so i figured it would be okay to see what happened. we spent soooo much time watching the two of them together and she was just not having it.. ive never seen her act like such a B!TCH. but at the same time you could tell she wanted him, just as soon as he mounted on her she would get really nasty with him n bite at him freaking out. he managed to succeed for small amounts of time but there wasnt ever a tie. so i finally said forget it! she's not ready. i forgot about the whole thing. and now she's got swollen nipples and is milking. I first assumed that it was another false pregnancy. theres a new male dog in the house and figured maybe that had triggered it. but when i told the friend about it she mentioned that she COULD be pregnant! i cant remember WHEN they she was together with the male, because of course i forgot all the important dates when i figured nothing happened. i know it was about two months ago though. i have been trying to feel her tummy for any signs of puppies but i cant feel anything. but still, ive never bred a dog before and i dont know really what to be looking for. she is now obsessed with laying in my dirty laundry basket and snaps and snarls at my male english setter whenever he comes near her while shes in it. i dont remember her being this moody in her other false pregnancy..so im a little bit confused and now i am trying to figure out if theres any possibility that she COULD be pregnant so i can get ready. Im hoping she isnt because its kind of a surprise and im not at all ready, but if she is i want to be as ready as i can be. anyone have any input on this? or suggestions about what to do? is there a possibility that theres just one pup in there being her first litter and all, maybe i just cant feel it. i have NO idea what im doing here... all i want is for my little girl to be safe!!!

| How much does your female weigh? I don't know what to tell you, other than if she is, you had best start studying up now on what to do. Mothers have been lost during whelping, a couple people lately I know of, have had to bottle feed babies every 1 1/2 hours day and night for 3-4 weeks straight. I'm going to start breeding, but, the one pup I'm getting is 10 weeks now, so, it will be 1 1/2 =2 years before I breed her, and I'm already starting to read up so I can be good and ready when the time comes |

| She could be having a false pregnancy but to be sure I highly recommend you get her checked by the vet. If it has been two months then she could have them any time if she is pregnant so your really need to find out. Is her vulva swollen? When they are pregnant the vulva stays swollen and they have a clear gooey discharge. Also if she is pregnant you should feel some kind of movement. |

| her weight is 7 lbs to 7 lbs 6 oz. it fluctuates between the two, but shes usually not too much over 7 lbs. but lately shes almost pushing 7lbs 8 oz. she does have some discharge and her vulva is swollen, but both of those things happened in her last false pregnancy. i cant feel any movement at all..or anything that feels like a pup to me.. im really thinking about getting her fixed after all this passes, if shes in false pregnancy. its alot of unnecessary stress and change on her and plus, if shes prone to false pregnancy it makes me feel like she might have complications with a real one. i dont want to chance anything going wrong with her ever. i dont know what i would do!!

| Take her to your vet. It could save her life if she is pregnant, and if not, it can be a vet check for a spay procedure. PS I do remember you. Welcome back.
