When is a discharge normal? Hello, I was noticing some dried mucousy stuff on Rosie today and I have not heard yet when this would be normal in a pregnancy. It is pretty minimal really but she tried to jump on my bed today and fell back down to the floor, so I just want to hear from somebody that it is normal to possibly see at this time. She is 34-39 days along now and starting to have a nice little belly. All I see, which I trimmed off with scissors already, is dry, hardened hair around her vulva. I guess I didn't expect to see anything like that yet, but I really hope someone can tell me it is normal at this stage of pregnancy and not becuase of her failing to make it onto the bed. Thanks for any replies.

The discharge is very normal. I always like to keep the hair trimmed on the vulva area so it does not get too messy. Hopefully she will not continue to jump too much. It could cause her to go into labor early.

I know, I hope she knocks this bed jumping thing off or else I will have to just contain her. She is showing a lot less activity this last week, she doesn't want to jump up when I am there, she'll always ask me to pick her up. But yesterday I was standing in the kitchen and heard this thump! She had tried to jump on my bed and didn't make it. She was kind of shook up and then that is already after I had set up a small wooden 'step' for her to use to get up there. Then when I saw the discharge it scared me like maybe it was caused by the fall she had. I am glad this is normal though, I don't feel as worried for her. Thanks.
