| Well, it could certainly be that way, but if you are NOT wanting this to be the case then you should still keep them seperate in case it does not take. You will still need to watch for any signs of pregnancy so she gets the best care she can if she is pregnant. If you have a boy and a girl and they are both unfixed then I am assuming you were planning on breeding them when she gets older? If that is the case then I would talk to somebody else with more experience so you can decide if she is too young to safely go through a pregnancy at this time. How big is she? |

| From experience, we have a litter due any day, that's what happened to my Ellie. It was totally unplanned, and unwanted, but since I was planning to breed them later, I didn't end the pregnancy. I would probably guess that she is pregnant. |

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | With the 3rd being day one of her cycle and the 14th as the "tie" date, then yes there would be a very good chance that she became pregnant. Days 9-15 are the most opportune time for a female to accept the male and become pregnant. If you plan to continue with the pregnancy, I suggest you use the next 9 weeks to read, read, read......and learn as much as you can on the subject of yorkie breeding & whelping. Go here... Canine Reproduction Video and Book on Breeding and Whelping dogs by Debbie Jensen for dog breeders and Whelping Supplies needed to deliver puppies. , click on the different links on either side as you scroll down; there is an abundance of information there. It is a favorite website of mine and I reccomend it to anyone that asks "what to do". Good luck to you and please keep us posted on the outcome. Treat your girl as if you know she's pregnant, feeding her a high quality puppy food from now until she weans her pups. When she would be 4 weeks along, you can take her to your vet and he should be able to palpitate her belly to feel if she has pups.

| Yes there is a high probability she is with pup! Just count 63 days from now that would be her due date and take her to the vet around day 45 I would call your vet when they like to see them, to confirm a pregnancy. Good Luck! pm me if u have any questions.
