| Urgent, indiana in trouble!! Subject: Indiana In Trouble! Email Republican Reps Now! PERMISSION TO CROSSPOST This email is to bring everyone up to date on Indiana HB 1468. The ARAs are rushing it through Indiana as fast as possible so they do not have to confront opposition. This state is in desperate need of email and help. EARLIER TODAY: When word got out that dog fanciers were going to mount a strong offensive to Indiana HB 1468, the bill was MOVED UP on the legislative calendar, to continue to PREVENT any input from dog owners. The bill was heard TODAY inthe House of Representatives (instead of having its 2nd reading on Thursday,February 19, 2009 as originally scheduled). This bill PASSED its 2nd reading in the House. We need support from far and wide to stop this bill in its tracks NOW. Do NOT let Indiana become the first state to KILL home hobby breeding of purebred dogs AND eliminate all the rescue groups that do so much to save the lives of displaced animals. Help stop the HSUS hypocrisy and the death of democracy in Indiana now! Indiana General Assembly CURRENTLY: These are all the House Republicans in Indiana. We're frantically working to get the email lists all put together. Will send you the Democrats as soon as it's done. Copy and Paste the following into your To: box.H88@IN.gov; H52@IN.gov; H91@IN.gov; H83@IN.gov; H23@IN.gov; H29@IN.gov;H93@IN.gov; H32@IN.gov; H21@IN.gov; H54@IN.gov; H65@IN.gov; H4@IN.gov;H35@IN.gov; H59@IN.gov; H92@IN.gov; H47@IN.gov; H50@IN.gov; H51@IN.gov;H90@IN.gov; H22@IN.gov; H84@IN.gov; H45@IN.gov; H41@IN.gov; H58@IN.gov;H43@IN.gov; H38@IN.gov; H72@IN.gov; H78@IN.gov; H49@IN.gov; H33@IN.gov;H20@IN.gov; H67@IN.gov; H57@IN.gov; H82@IN.gov; H16@IN.gov; H15@IN.gov;H79@IN.gov; H24@IN.gov; H63@IN.gov; H48@IN.gov; H87@IN.gov; H85@IN.gov;H40@IN.gov; H28@IN.gov; H26@IN.gov; H18@IN.gov=A0TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE.=A0 Go to Indiana General Assembly - Every =Indiana Representative and Senator has a webpage there (you have to click on them individually). On the individual pages, scroll to the far right and that's where you'll find the email addresses. Keep a look out for this email to be coming. The Indiana House will reconvene on Thursday, February 19 at 10:00 AM. This gives just over 24 hours to move on this bill. Every breeder from across the USA needs to email these politicians. Keep it succinct and easy to read. Subject Line: Indiana HB 1468 Address your email to:The Honorable Representatives of the Indiana House Of Representatives

| Should/Can non-Indiana residents do this and is there a rough draft of an already written email anywhere? I really don't want to write my own.

| Here is a sample letter that anyone can send. As sent, permission granted for re-use in part or in entirty should anyone wish to do so Indiana HB 1468: OPPOSED Honorable Representatives of the Indiana House Of Representatives,Please reject this mis-guided and mis-labelled law. Although the motivation may be good, the applications of this law will severely curtail if not eventually eliminate the hobby pet breeding population in the state. These individuals are not only the source of significant revenue for the state through trickle down income associated with the dog show industry but also the finest source of quality pets available to the public. Please do not strip these individuals of further monetary resources or property rights. This kind of legislation weakens the foundation of property rights in which American citizens take such pride. Please protect the property rights of American citizens and Indiana Residents to breed for and care for their pets in their own best judgement. Please restrict the efforts of the Human Society of the United States to establish dominion over that which they do not own, do not love and do not, in fact, protect.Sincerely
