| AKC Letter???? I recieved a letter today from AKC is said that a DNA analysis was made on my Yorkies family (I gather) and that the DNA results that this dog could not be the offspring of the parents to which it is registered, But to be advised that this does not imply incorrect parentage or incorrect identity of my dogs or any offspring that my dog may have sired or whelped. Because my dog is the direct decendant of the litter with incorrect parentage the registration of said dog and its offspring has been placed on referral. and that the breeder of the litter has be notified and have been requested to submit additional DNA samples to determine correct parentage. Because my dogs parentage is not in question there is no action required from me at this time. Has anyone ever had this happen before or know of anyone that this has happened to?

| I've never heard about this before, and I'm not sure if I even understand it. I'd like to see some answers on these.

| Best thing to do is to contact AKC and have them explain the letter.

| I agree, contact AKC and have them explain. But it sounds like, until they get te additional testing done, there is nothing for you to do. |
