| 4 week old pups!! hi all!! i have a couple of questions. my yorkie had 2 male pups by c-section. they are 4weeks old yesterday. the vet said i could worm them now but was just curious. the smallest one i fell is not ready he acts different than his brother. his weight has been the same for 5 days 1lb 2.5oz. he hasnt lost any or anything. his eyes are open he walks around and is nosiy.lol!! but his brother runs, plays with momma, grawls and barks when we enter the room.. do they grow at differnet stages?? i m ean should little one be doin the same things as his bigger brother??? he does sleep alot too!!! i have been tryin to botlle feed him some and seperate the big one when they nurse but that isnt goin very well.. big brother just over powers him and they seem to just want the back two teats!! i feel i should hold off on the wormer with little guy but i just dont know!!! any help would be much appreaciated..... |

| Because he isn't gaining weight I would definitely have a fecal check done on him before I do any worming. No sense putting poison in a small pup that is having a bit of a struggle anyway.

| I would have a fecal done, he may be having trouble because he needs wormed. |
