| I believe if you go to the AKC site I believe you will find a section on registering a litter. If you can't find it then give them a call. They are really helpful.

| I called to register my puppy. You can call them and ask what needs to be done. All the registration can also be done over the internet. This is how I did my babies registration.

| But can I do it when my babies are 6 months now, The breeder said if akc would she would go back, I would call but they are closed. I just wanted if anyone has ever had this situation before and if akc lets you do it after so long. |

| As long as you have the AKC registration numbers on the sire and dam you can register the litter now. I like to use AKC online registration for registering my litters. I usually get the litter registration papers back in about one week. If the dam of the litter was in your possession at the time of the breeding and the papers are dated showing that you were the owner at the time of the breeding then you should have no problem getting papers on the puppy. |

| I know you have 1 year to register a new puppy before they add on late fees. I am unsure about a new litter.
