Donating YT 2000 Club Member | What does your vet charge for an xray? I was just wondering. I was thinking of changing vets because they have 6 vets on duty and a great emergency department. Well I called today to find out the charges. They want $150 for an xray and visit. I think I will stick to my old vet. He only charges $45.

| Mine charges $25, which is really affordable. He's the cheapest in town, here in TN. I would stay with original vet, since he has better prices. Some vets take advantage of situations and overcharge cause they know they can get away with it. Last edited by clm56; 12-09-2008 at 12:02 PM. |

| Well my vet charges a lot more than other vets in the area...I think they typically go for $40-$50 but mine charges $80-$90 I believe. HOWEVER, I have a loyalty to him because he's done a wonderful job with all my babies, he is honest and is the BEST at what he does...so I don't have a problem paying a little more to get the very top knotch care... |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Thanks you all! I thought that was high. My vet is great. I am just worried about an emergency. Sometimes he goes to his farm that is an hour away. I guess I could always use the others if I can't get a hold of Dr.W
