| Question about weight Lilly is almost 10 months old and almost 4 lbs. I have heard people say that they can "fill out" after the first year, but I am concerned that she won't be big enough to breed. Has anyone had a girl that was this size at this age that ended up growing a little more and being a successful whelper?

| Contrary to what many people on here say, she can easily gain 1 1/2 pounds or more til breeding age but it depends a lot on how she is built too. Weight is a good guidline but build is even more important as is wheather her mother was a free whelper. |

| Yes, my Mia was only 31/2 lbs. at 10 mos. Today at almost 2 yrs. she weighs right at 5 lbs. but she is spayed, I never wanted to breed her, so can't help with that. |
