| It must have been awhile since you bought from this line. Yes, they are/were a gorgeous line. I also had a Chelsea Nimar lined girl. Nina McIntire was the breeder of this line in Dallas, Texas. I am pretty sure she no longer breeds because I do not see this line anymore. I took a break to showing/breeding during the time when she quit/line seen to stop, so not sure what happened. There are a few people that have this line behind their lines/dogs, but the Chelsea Nimar is way back in the pedigree. You have to be careful what is in front of the Chelsea Nimar, since it can change the look of what you are looking for. Best of luck in your search! Yes, Nina's husband took some really great photos of their dogs, which you can still see in several great books about yorkies. T. |

Nina was a Bluebonnet YT member and you're right she no longer breeds and hasn't for a long, long time. The last time I heard from her she sent me photos of Bluebonnet Specialties of when they were first starting the club. It was amazing to see how the show had evolved.

| My first Yorkie, Dixie, who is now 12 years old, goes back to the Chelsea Nimar lines. Dixie's mom had 6 of the Chelsea Nimar champions on her 4th and 5th generation. |

| Barbara, I am looking at a picture of Chelsea Nimar Finders Keeper from the March 1976 Yorkie Tales magazine. I didn't realize you had this line in your dogs. Do you know anyone else who has this line?

| I'd be interested in locating any dogs from the Starfire line also. Anne Goldman from Santa Monica had them, beautiful little dog Starfire Design by Keepsake. Also from 1976.

| My first Yorkie, Dixie, who is now 13 years old, goes back to the Chelea Nimar bloodline. Dixie's mom had several champions in her pedigree from that line but they would be many generations back in the pedigrees of the dogs that are in my breeding program today. Of course, I am partial to my Dixie too since she was my first yorkie. |

| I have tried to look for this line up close in today's yorkies (where it matters) and I do not believe there are any left. This line was from the 80s - 30 years ago or so. They were beautiful. My Foxfire was from this line with Mayfair. You can learn more about them and see more photos in the The Yorkshire Terrier Book - the big book. |
