| Gosh how sad. Sometimes that is the only way. That is part of breeding and it is a huge responsibility. It is very hard and long hours sometimes. They should try to find someone nearby who has a nursing female and see if she would accept the puppy. Even another small breed dog. I know there are pros and cons to this also. I have heard of females killing puppies who are not their own so it would be a delicate situation. I hope they have the dogs spayed and neutured so this does not happen again. Being a breeder is a 24/7 job. It is not always fun and there is not usually alot of sleep around whelping time or when the puppies are young. I hope they continue and give her a chance. I wish I was closer I would take her. |
