| How long before I have to start worrying?? 64 days from Khloe's Ovulation date, how long before I should take her in to the vet? She had xrays done on day 57 and vet said the puppies looked fine to delivery naturally...its Friday and the weekend is here. I live 45 min from the emergency vet |

| from what i have read and have been told by other breeders....up to 72 days is still safe provided there are not problems.......so i would say if she doesnt have them this week end she would still be safe...but JMO...if she hasnt had them by Monday i would be contacting my regular vet and see if maybe they need to try(if possible) to start her labor or do a C-section....dont be scared if she starts delivering during the weekend...there are literally hundreds of breeders online 24/7 on YT that are more than happy to help out if needed....Sunnie (Sonya) lives in California...not sure what City....but she is very knowledgable in these things....good luck....and keep us all updated...

| If you had a progesterone test then you should be pretty close to the actual date. Have you been checking her temp? I once had a girl go to day 71 but she was bred too early in her heat I think. |

| I think you should call the vet that did your progesterone tests and ask them this question...I believe that the test is accurate within 48 hours and that would be the time frame that you have to work with...The vet should be able to confirm this for you....

| I just went back and reread your other thread...I saw that her temp had gone down to 98.2...She had other symptoms along with the drop in temp...Panting, not eating, digging etc... I would be concerned that she was in first stage labor and never progressed to second stage labor...Was her temp down for 12-24 hours?...Was it at least a full 2 degrees lower than what her lowest temp had been running?...If you are concerned go with your gut and make a call to your vet to see what they say...Not all bitches progress to second stage labor!
