| Is it time? Temp drop question - please help! OK - taking temp for a week now - lowest has been 99.1, lots of 99.3-99.4, and one 100 even. I have her due date as the 22nd because that was the first tie I saw - but it could have happened a few days earlier. Molly's temp last night at 11pm was 99.6 (about 4 tenths higher than it has been running) and this morning it was 98.7. Is that a significant enough drop? Should I run home from work? Or will it be OK to wait until lunch and go home and check again? My puppy midwife is driving in tonight!!! Thanks all! |

| Could be, maybe not. Temp is not always a sure indicator. I think it can be better judged by her behavior...which you can't tell if you are not there. If it were me, I'd go home. It may be a false alarm, but what if it's not? Better safe than sorry. At least tomorrow your mid-wife will be able to watch her while you are at work. |
