"teacups," "Mixed breed pups," "Visa/MC," Multiple breeds! Do you need more? And that poor Brutus! There are some ugly pups there - long narrow faces and terrier coats - for the yorkies/not mixed breed ones. All this is just my own opinion and how I feel. You asked. | That is Jeff Dane's website...he's notorious for unethical breeding and running a puppymill! He sells alot of sick dogs, I'd stay far, far away

| A good breeder will gauntee thier pups and be willing to take them back if you should fall on bad times parents should always be available for you to see, I would want to see where they live the way they are kept, good breeders will not get upset at ?? yo may have and should be thier for you even after your baby comes home they should suppy you with a kit with everything you need for the first 48 hours after you get your baby home. I d this with all my puppy buyers, and I check up on my puppies, I work so hard to raise them I want to make sure the person getting them knows all they can to protect the puppy, and that the puppy is ajustig well with them, I have made some wonerful friends as well, I love what I do and I do it for the love of the breed as well as the happy faces I see after they get their new baby money can't buy that feeling of a job well done. good luck finding your baby

| Some of the puppies are so sad. It almost makes you want to adopt them and bring them home with you to get them away from him......the bad thing is then you would still be giving him business if you get the puppies from him. I am awfully confused at why no one can stop people like this and why they can't shut him down. I guess I dk much about the whole "breeding" thing my lil ones are both fixed (bc one is a chihuahua and well Bailey is a lil yorkie girl) and I didn't want to take chances with her having babies as small as she is. Sorry for rambling I am just awfully confused at how nothing can be done here |

| I got Roxy from yorkiepup.com. I fell in love with her sweet little face and that was that. My mother is retired and said that no grand-dog of hers was going to fly alone on an airplane, and she and her best friend immediately loaded up with her 2 Bichons, and on a road-trip they went. When I joined YT, I started learning about what to look for in a reputable breeder, and started to wonder if Roxy came from a puppy mill. I asked my mom again what it was like when they picked Roxy up. She again said that, yes, there were alot of dogs, but they seemed cared for, and their cages were clean. She said that the man (Jeff) had yorkies of his own who followed him and were definitely devoted to him and were right up on the desk "helping" him with the paperwork. As far as Roxy's temperment and health - we have been very fortunate with her. She is such a sweet, loving, wonderful puppy. She is not a barker, potty training has gone pretty well, she is VERY smart, and completely fearless. Her puppy health was ok. She was diagnosed as having coccidia the first week, but responded very well to her antibiotic. She had a very sensitive tummy, but when she left grandma's TLC (and people treats!) and was subjected to mom's strict dog food only regimen, her tummy was fine! No other problems until a couple of months ago when she started limping. She was diagnosed with Legg-Perthes disease and has since had FHO surgery. (I posted asking for prayers for Roxy - THANK YOU YTers!!!!) The surgery went very well. The vets all said that the cause of Legg-Perthes is a mystery. Some think it is genetic, but it can't be proven. When I read yorkiepup.com's guarantee again to see if they might help with the surgery, what I basically understood was that they will give you another pup after you send them the "defective" pup. There is no way in this world I would ever part with Roxy!!!!! She is my baby, a member of the family, and we truly and deeply love her!!!! I believe things happen for a reason. Roxy was meant to be a part of my family. I wouldn't change having Roxy for anything. That being said, I am now starting to look for a sister for Roxy. And no, even with as much as I love my Roxy, I will not be purchasing another pup from yorkiepup.com. I don't know quite how to go about finding the right place to find our future family-member. We are in Idaho, and I haven't found litters anywhere in this area. I am being picky this time - I want a breeder who is hands-on with their pups - who loves the breed and is not just out for the dollar. I'm glad I didn't know then what I know now, but now that I have learned, I will be far more careful next time around! By the way - if any of you know of a sweet female puppy who will probably hit between 4.5-5 lbs. (I don't want a big size difference between the playmates!), or are expecting litters between now and early spring, in this side of the country, keep us in mind!!! Good luck on your puppy search! May you find as much love and happiness with your baby as we have found with our Roxy!!

| RUN! I would suggest doing a YT search on the site....that will bring up more than enough previous threads about this "breeder" that you can read.... Not good... |

BANNED! | There are many wonderful breeders you can get a healthy happy yorkie puppy from, this website however is not one I recommend. It is well worth doing more research to find a breeder whom you trust and one who provides you with a written health guarantee. |
