| new puppy my yorkie gypsie has just given birth to her 1st puppy, all is well with puppy, how will i know if there are any more to come? how long is it between pups? any more advice appreciated please |

| It can take up to 2 hours between puppies. I would advise that you take her to the vet tomorrow to get a shot to clean her out just in case she has not delivered all of the puppies/placentas. Congratualtions and good luck. |

| You should be able to feel if your bitch is still having contractions. Is there movement within the uterine horns? If it feels that there is just one hard ball in her stomach and no movement or contractions than more than likely she is done.

| Also, if you have a stethoscope you can move it around her abdomen to listen for any more heartbeats. Did you have an Xray taken of her? Does she show signs of pushing anymore? Genie, |

| new puppys gypsie finally had 2 girls and 1 boy, had to take her to vets, as the first ones after birth was still in her, any way all pups are well and healthy so is gypsie, will post pics in a few days,thanks for all our advice. |
