no... it was more of a line.... hard to describe i wish i would have taken a picture..... she is only day 58 so could she still have her plug.... she licks herself a lot so i dont know if she could have lost it or not... if that wasnt it i mean.

It could have been her plug but it was probably just dainage. Usually they loose their plug at around day 60. But there is a good chance you won't see it, they usually keep them selves very clean and we don't alway's see it before they eat it.

I would definitely keep a close watch on her. a contraction will feel like it does on a human in labor. The stomach will tighten up really hard. Try not to let her outside to go potty by herself. You don't want her to go out and drop one in the yard. Hopefully it will be a few more days. LONGER is BETTER. I mean don't be too scared if she has them earlier... Sunshine went into labor with her last litter at day 59 and they were fine. Just stay calm and keep an eye on her.

Thanks yeah we have someone with her at all times. She never goes outside without a leash.... even when she isnt pregnant she is on a leash... we also have a flashlight in the whelping box to use when she goes outside to go potty. We also have a designated area we take her to to go potty.

Okay all last night went as normal. Peyton still has not had her pups but we aren't due until the 20th so to me the longer they are in the better. Day 59 and counting! So when we have these beauties i will definitely post pictures. I will also keep you posted when she shows me signs of labor. Thanks!

Ok < I thought I may have missed this whelp! So she's onday 59 ,good.They will comeout when ready

I know this week will be nerve wracking and exciting for you! Please post updates when she goes into labor!

OMG How nerve wracking. I couldn't handle the stress. I am a definitely a puppy buyer not a puppy breeder. I would go insane! Glad your girl is doing good.

Can't wait for new puppies. Try to stay calm and everything will be fine. There is always people online to help if you need them. Can't wait to hear the news when ever it happens.

She is just sleeping alot. A little roaming. She is laying up next to me right now. No signs of labor. Her temp was taken at 8:24 and it was 99.4 I will be taking it again at 10:30. I want to see these babies sooo bad.... Im okay with her going today if she does as she is on her 60th day from the first breeding. Keeping fingers crossed for a good whelping!

saying a prayer for a safe and happy whelping........and yes i think that if she goes today you are safe.......sounds like she is resting and hunting for a safe place to deliver.....im online most of the time....i can find help if you need it....dont worry nature has a way of taking care of things.....good luck

Okay so i have the walk in closet open for her where i have her whelping area... and i was in the bathroom which was next to it with the door open getting ready for work she went directly in there and i went to look in at her at she was laying in there. I then heard a noise and glanced back in and he started digging at one of the sheets in the very corner... She didnt dig that long as it was kinda quick and then she layed on top of that. Im not sure if that is consider nesting or not. I took her temp again and it is at 100.1 its gone up again. She is still in her whelping area and she has been in there now for about 15 minutes. I dont know if she will go today or not....she is messing with me making me think she is going LOL

sounds like nesting to me.....and some have a temp drop then back up right before pre-labor..which is nesting, digging, panting,,,,,,keep a watch on her...this could be the day

Nothing..... yet she is acting normal..... when her temp was taken at 11:30 she went up to 100.4. I will be taking her temp soon so we will see. No nesting or what seems to be nesting except for this morning. ( Which was a quick short little digging sheet into a ball.
