Hi all is well here. She just started nesting ... and nesting good her second time this morning. How long from when they start nesting do they go into labor? She is laying on her sheets where she piled them up.

Is she in a box? She could nest for quite some time. If she's in a box, she'll start tearing at it, biting it. She's going to be uncomfortable. Sounds like she might do this today though.

she also just rolled to lay on her back.... for a quick second it sounded as though she was breathing hard and fast...she isnt doing that now but so far she has been on her back for about 2-3 minutes and she is still on it. How far away are we from delivery?

she is in one of her whelping areas we gave her a few to choose from and she chose the bedroom one. Im here with her all day today and tomorrow

Yes she is confined to one area....all day i want those furbabies.....nowwwwww LOL Good thing im here today and tomorrow as well as the weekend

Very good thing! I hope she does this in daylight. What are you going to use to tie the umbilicals? You have all your stuff ready?

Yes everything is ready...we have the following just in case to use for the umbilical cords

floss- unscented/unflavored/unwaxed
Hemostats
scissors
quick stop

everything else that is needed on a whelping kit list we have....we are over prepared in some since.

Do you know how many she's having? you have lots of towels, the heating pad? Don't let her eat much on the umbilical..they can go down too close to the body with it, and you won't be able to tie it - so get the baby away from her and tie it up. You must be excited.

Yes we have the heating pad, lots of towels, scissors, floss, hemostats, scale, bulb (to clear nose and mouth), feeding tubes (Just in case), bottles (just in case), milk replacer (just in case), tags to tag the pups, pad for information, quick stop, Box of rubber gloves, ky jelly, thermometer, flash light, etc.

Yeah we heard to do it ourselves or if we wanted to let her do it we should put a hemostat where she can go down to.

Sorry for got to answer your other question...We definitely have 3 they think they saw a fourth not sure if one moved or not..... also they dont know if any are hiding they said for her size she could even have 6 or 7 but we believe we heard 5 heart beats...but not sure if it was picked up from another.

looks like im gonna have to come to delaware and shake those puppies out...lol....let her know that if she dont have those puppies by Christmas im coming up there and giving her a good shaking.......lol.......sounds like it wont be long now

Hahaha yeah she is digging for her 4th time now... i moved her downstairs to the walking closet whelping area to give her more room she is really digging now...YEahhhhhhh I hope they come out soon......like daytime soon she has held them hostage for toooooo long....LOL
