Will my puppy have a thick coat or silky coat as an adult??

My puppy is 9 weeks old now and Im just curious to see what you guys think. Do you think she will have a silky coat or a thick coat as an adult? Pics of your furbabies as pups to adults is welcomed!! :-) thanks

What a cutie. I can't tell what kind of coat she will have but the breeder should havwe an idea.

Oh she is quite the cutie....at my house the head tilt allows them to get away with murder.

On her coat....look at her parents. They are the best indication of the coat she may have. Sometimes people will say the colors their eyes glow in photos is an sign....green would mean silk. Gold/red...cottony.

She looks like she is breaking to silver on her head so I would say she will have a silky coat, now how thick of a silky coat...only time and genetics will tell!

Seems that's true. My Zada's eyes glow green and she has the silky coat and Azrael's eyes glow pink and she has the thick cotton coat. Strange!

I tried to find pics of both of my boys at that age and ..they are here somewhere, because their breaking patterns look the same as yours...and the eyes in the flash is green and they both are silk...that flash thing is pretty weird huh??

That is so weird that you are saying that. My cottony coat baby's eyes turn gold in a photo, and my silky turns green. Their could be truth to that. Don't know how....but it's true at my house.

That is amazing. I always wondered why the eyes of my babies turn different colors in photos. And it is true Sandy's eyes are red and she is cottony and TJ & Dexters show green.. and their coats are silky. You learn something new every day.

she is a doll. she has silky coat...and I think she is mostly like to be light in color with wavy hair :this is just my guess.

Awww! Your yorkies are adorable! In all the pics I have of the puppy (Kenzie), her eyes are blue. What does blue mean? lol. The daddy was all gold and the mommy was blue/gold. I don't wanna sell her now because Im curious to see what she's going to turn out like :-)
