| customer from hell It's nice there's a breeder review section, but a customer review might be nice too. On Saturday a very well spoken woman claiming to be a retired health professional living in a nearby city came to see my puppies. She talked in great detail about her many years as a Yorkie owner and how lonely she was since the death of her last one. She selected two 18 week old puppies, went home to prepare for them, then returned on Sunday afternoon to pick them up. Late Monday night she woke me up with a phone call to complain that the puppies had been crying incessantly since arriving at her home and she couldn't get any sleep. I asked her to please return them for a refund the following morning, which she did. They appear to be in excellent condition except for having been ravenously hungry, and there has been no crying or other carrying on whatsoever. I feel terrible about having let my puppies go home with this person and would love to have a place to report her as someone not to ever sell a pet to. |

| wow.. clearly she has never had a puppy before! you are so lucky she agreed to return them. it must be so hard for breeders to say good bye to a puppy when you TRUST they are going somewhere great, let alone when they go to this person. So glad you got your babies back! |

| That's scary that she didn't even think to feed them!!! I guess you never really know someone, even if the first impression is good!! Hope you don't run into any more like her!!

| well youre lucky you have them back...if a adoptee doesnt understand the transistion process of a puppy then they dont need a live dog they need to buy a stuffed animal, you never need to feed it, comes prehouse trained, matt free, groom free, and will stay anywhere you place it

| Did you tell her what to expect that seems a little unreasonable reason to return a puppy. My breeder told me mine would probably cry at night untill they got used to staying in the xpen at night. She also showed me what she feed and gave me some food to take home. This lady sounds like she didnt know at all how to care for the pups which makes you wonder since she got 2

| Wow what kind of person could be like that, it is like asking a baby not to cry. She took this puppy from its home and family and expects it not to cry LOL what are people thinking.

| Wow, all babies cry esp when they are in a new enviormnet. How lucky you are to have found this out and gotten them back. I can only imagine they would have had if it started like this!!!

YT 1000 Club Member | This lady seems a little "unbalanced" if she can not know there will be a transition period...thankfully she returned them....they are much better off...who knows what would have become of them....

This woman claimed to have owned Yorkies for almost 30 years previously. Whereas I thought getting two puppies was a bit ambitious, she is retired and certainly has the time to work with them. Last week I sold two to a very busy working woman who is having a ball with them. | |

| Those poor babies sound like they were home-sick....does she not realize that this is normal?! They probably didn't eat because they were nervous over the change...that, too, is normal. How lucky that you got them back. I cannot imagine treating one of my dogs like that! Livi used to cry at night because she slept in the bathroom, but once we decided that since she is afterall the princess of the house and should sleep in bed with us, she has never had another problem. I am very sorry that you and your babies went through this, but thankfully, you have them back home. Tammy Last edited by TammyJM; 06-18-2008 at 09:59 AM. |

| Yes, I am blessed I take great pains to tell people that I will buy back my puppies any time, for any reason, and I am hugely relieved she was listening when I said it to her. Of course I also try to screen people well enough that there shouldn't be many takers on the offer, but I was way off track with this one. |

| Good God, how horrible! Sounds like she shouldn't even own a cactus, let alone two dogs! |
