I've been waiting to see if there is a new thread for July Puppies. So I decided to ask : Who is due in July ???

I'm still in denial about Lola.I find out for sure the end of this month,getting an xray She deffinately looks it ,acts it,and has been having all the symptoms.

Today she had a clear discharge ,looked like a booger ? LoL
Anyway ,Ive been reading and researching like crazy and I read that is another sure sign that she is pregnant. I asked a Breeder/friend and she told me deffinately. This happens at 4-5 weeks and Lola will be 5 weeks on Sunday.

Hi Genie,

As you know, Chloe should be due around July 8th. I think I told you - but she had a clear discharge last Friday (which was day 31 for her). I bet that you see her belly getting bigger within the next few days!

I am glad to hear that slowly, but surely, you are coming out of denial

Is it possible to be and not show at 5 weeks? I know of 3 ties but she is not showing at all.

I think a breeder would be the best person to answer this. They say around 33 - 35 days the dog starts to "show" a bit. I could see Chloes tummy enlarge around day 31. I believe, though, that it depends on the dog and thd 33-35 days is only an estimate.

Do you have any pictures of your dog at 5 weeks? Sometimes they dont show until 7 weeks if they are only carrying 1-2 pups. Some carry in the ribcage also so you might not see a bulge o her belly but the ribcage seems wider .Are her nipples bigger? Has her personality changed at all in these 5 weeks? I am doubting myself everyday and waiting for me is the WORST! lol
I wish I would hae measured mine 5 weeks ago and now. Last time I measured her chest 12" to make her a dress ,but that was like 6 months ago! and now it's 13" .
I have to wait 2 more weeks so they can do an X-ray on her to confirm and give me a headcount on the puppies.

My Mia is due on July 8th. She is very round right now. I just cant wait until the puppy's start to mobe around. Good luck with your little girl.

Ok I'm getting camera happy...Here's pics of today ( Day 33) almost 5 weeks
I put a short tank top on her that was a 2 pc with a denim skirt well I bought this for her 3 months ago and it was too loose on her. I had to overwrap the velcro on the skirt and now the velcro barely touches so I guess she needs Maternity clothes lol.
The third pic is of her in a homemade whelpbox.I didnt spend money ,I had the hamper in the garage and I cut the front out of it ,since it has holes on the sides , I can fit the heating pad cord through the bottom. I have another hamper that I will put in front of this one so I can put food,water and pee pad.My kids were laughing at me. My hubby asked if I planned to do stickers that say It'sa boy! or It'sa girl! lol

Looks for sure like she's pregnant!!! Five weeks would be a little more than half-way thru wouldn't it? They don't usually start getting larger until the last few weeks. It might be too late for the vet to do a "feel" of her abdomen and give you a count. After the first few weeks they go up under the rib cage (at least that's what the vet says) and then you can't tell except by xray or waiting until they're born. Congratulations and best of luck!

khyorkies , what's your girl's name? What a cute lil belly she has!
I emailed my dog's belly pictures to my friend and she told me " She doesnt have a belly at all?" Umm her velcro clothes do NOT fit her at all and her ribcage has grown like 1.25" inches more ! lol I guess she hasnt seen many pregnant dogs.

not knowing is very tough...torture...my girl is definitely heavier.. when do they pop... is it 7 weeks? thats only 2 weeks before due date..

Chloe's tummy is getting larger by the day. For the most part, she wont jump up on furniture anymore. She tends to look at us and wait to be picked up - which I am completely happy about. She used to run right over to me when I walked in the door. Now it is hysterical - she runs halfway, then dips down and lays on her back waiting for my to pet her belly. Too cute! She looks a lot like the pics posted by "khyorkies." I noted that her yorkie was due the first week in July. Chloe is due July 8th, so I guess it looks like she is on track.
