How exciting! My girl is due the 7th. Supposed to deliver 2 maybe 3. Vet said he saw 2 clearly and possibly 1 more. She is sleeping all the time and won't eat unless I dribble chicken broth on the puppy food. Her first and mine. OOOOH boy!!! Good luck to all getting close.

I know I'm a little late in the thread; but waiting for confirmation that my Toshi was expecting. She is approx. 5 weeks and starting to 'fill out' a little bit.... This is the girl that we didn't get a good tie w.but looks like we might have done enuf!!! I think she is due the end of the month, approx 30th. Good luck to all of you w.babies coming. I can't keep my hands off newborn yorkins!!!

That is exactly what we look like!!!! We are due anywhere from the 10th to the 14th. We were out of town during breeding, we had my sisiter babysit the dogs and "watch" for their ties...we all know how that went obviously

Anyhow...so I am just watching her and letting her sleep by the bed! I will take some pics and post them

I wish I knew of another sure way to confirm how many puppies Lola's having! Unless I took her in for another Xray but my vet charges $129 for 2 Xrays,one on her side and one laying flat on her back. I still say that I heard 3 heartbeats plus Lola's heartbeat that is easy to tell apart.Because it's much slower.

Cookie had her x-ray and the vet only saw one baby on there, but I am keeping my fingers crossed for a extra puppy in there! Even the vet said by looking at her belly she hardly looks pregnant, but feeling her belly you would think she had maybe 2. I am really hoping for 2! I may keep 1 if she has 2 girls not sure yet!!!

She was acting kinda funny last night, I thought she was getting ready to go into labor! I went in my room and made sure her bed was fixed and had a heating pad in it, and to make sure I had all of my supplies near by in case she needed any help. Well I waited until after 1:00 am and I feel asleep, but I set my alarm to wake me up every 35 minutes so I could check on her. But still no baby yet! I could really feel it turning flips in her tummy last night so I think that may have been why she was acting weird, this is her first litter and I don't think she knew why her belly had something doing flips in it!

WOW $129 my vet only charges $30 apeice for the x-rays!! I am really excited now, it is soo close to time!

Doo Doo just had 6 pups. They all look good she's cleaning them like crazy I'll check back in a few

The vet I use hasn't got a machine in the branch here...and I don't want to drive where he is mainly!

The other vets require you have all sorts of new patient crap...and I am not doing that, since I don't use them. He said he can for sure feel one...I can feel one move...so that is what I am looking for... one little baby! Oh well...we just wanted her to have one pregnancy before we have her spayed. Everyone should get the chance to be a mommy at least once!

I still don't know the sex of them. They look so comfy trying to nurse with mom. I don't want to bother them or her. She did all the work by herself. It's amazing. I didn't think she was due for another few weeks, so I wasn't ready. But there she was in her create with all her pups just cleaning them. What do I do now. Do I buy her some puppy food for her? I don't know what's next. OH I did however cover her crate with a big towle only cause it's a wire crate. She's in my room so I want her to have a little private time. I'll put some picture in her albume it's the only way I know how. Please check there.

Aww...they are so adorable. She didn't look like she was expecting six puppies from the belly pic's. They are so cute! They look solid black are they full yorkishire terriers? Good luck with those little ones!!

No they are mixed with cocker spaniel. Not my choice if you read my other threads you'll find the whole story. Anyway she's doing great, she's still cleaning them and they are all moving and crying. That's a good thing right? I'm on my way to petsmart. What do I need to pick up besides puppy food for her? When I get home I'll check how many boys and girls.

congrats on the 6 puppies! It was nice talking to you today and hearing that exciting story! Hope you were able to find all the ingredients for the post whelp pudding. I am deffinately NOT going to be going out until Lola gives birth! lol
She's just relaxing most of the day on my bed ,she hates being in the bathroom even though she can see me! She just wants me to be in the same room with her.Here she is with some new pink bows that my hubby bought for her today

Oh yes it is good if they are crying and squirming around, the crying is good for their lungs!

Oh and congrat's you will have your hands full in the coming weeks with 6 little babies!!!
