| my dog is going through her first heat and i think that she may be getting sick.. my yorkie is going through her first heat and she has been having diarrhea and throwing up a good amount of times. She doesn't eat a lot or drink water. She has been sleeping more than usual too. What's wrong with her because I'm really worried that she is getting really sick. please respond asap.. thanks |

| This may or maynot have anything to do with her heat cycle. I would get her to a vet to be checked out...I would be afraid she is dehydrating!

| Having diarrhea and vomiting you should take her to the vet, she could easily get dehydrated. Syringe her some water (if she can keep it down) til you get there. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Roxie came into heat a week ago saturday. She has been sleeping a bit more and the first clue I had was she seemed to be a bit standoffish for her. Then i noticed her swelling down there and a few days later she started bleeding, She has been eating and going normal so you may want to have your vet check her out. Hope she feels better
