| Why dont they get on????? HELP Hi all, need some advice please. I have a 3 year old Yorkie girl (Marnie) who i bred and is the 'Top Dog' in a clan of 3 girls and 1 dog. I recently was given a yorkie girl aged 18 months called Maisey. At first all was fine, Maisey came into season after been with me only 1 week, mated with my stud dog,and im expecting a litter end of June. Suddenly, Maisey and Marnie have had a go at each other. I give each the same attention, but ive noticed that Maisey is 'Squaring Up' (Challenging) Marnie - and they both had another go at each other a few days ago and again todday. It really is begining to worry me, as the other dogs all get along just fine - any ideas what it could be?? PLEASE PLEASE HELP. THANKS |

| My females have been doing that also. I had 1 female (Foxy) and then about 5 months later I got another female (Cookie) they got along just fine and then my pregnant female Foxy lost her litter (that was about 2 months ago) and now a few weeks ago Cookie came in season and was bred and is now exspecting puppies in July and they fight horrible I have to keep them in seperate rooms most of the time...unless I am in the room watching them.

| Oh thanks, it really has worried me, as my other girls get along just fine, there is no vicious or nasty streak in them, and im really worried wat maisey will be like when the pups are born end of June. Do you think they will eventually settle??? |

| I hope so that is what I was worried about I don't want a fight over the babies!!! That would be really bad I guess I will just have too keep Foxy away from the puppies and Cookie when they arrive. I have tried scolding and punishing them for fighting but it makes it worse. Not sure what else to do. They do okay most of the time, but sometimes all of a sudden they are at each other.
